Philip II (1556-1598). 2 escudos. ND (ca. 1588). Segovia. I. (Cal-826). (Tauler–26). . 6,77 g. Assayer and aqueduct on the left, value II surmounted by dots on the right of the shield. Aqueduct also on reverse. Very nice color with luster and immaculate surfaces that accentuate its excellent eye appeal. Very rare and undoubtedly the best known specimen.
Slabbed by NGC as MS 62 (Top Pop), the best preserved specimen in the NGC and PCGS census.

Lustrous and nice color, with excellent eye appeal. Very rare, even more in this state of preservation.

Faustina Junior. Aureus. 147-175 AD. Rome. (Ric-718 (Aurelius)). (Cal–2076). (Ch-220). Anv.: FAVSTINA AVGVSTA. Draped bust to the right. Rev.: TEMPOR FELIC. Faustina standing facing, head left, holding a infant in each arm; two more children standing to her left and right. . 7,11g. This coin, part of a series depicting Faustina with numerous children, probably shows only a portion of her offspring, as her biographies show that she had more than six children during her lifetime. The coin is very centered. It has a beautiful orange color with slight traces of luster. The reverse is very common in bronze and silver mintage, but very rare in gold. We have only found three examples at auctions in recent years. Very rare. Almost XF/Choice VF.
